Opened in 1922, the Whittier Community Center has a number of programs including Sports, Youth, Arts, Reading and Fitness. The center includes the 400 seat Whittier Center Theatre. It hosts special events such as an annual Halloween Haunted House. Our daughters have performed in a number of plays and taken gymnastics and dance classes there.
The Community Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The large relief style sculpture on the building is named “Community Spirit”.
