There are many good waymark locations for this song, "Gonna Take a Lot of River," by the Oak Ridge Boys. This is one place, which has a nice view of the three rivers: the Allegheny and the Monongahela Rivers forming the Ohio River. Two of those rivers, the Monongahela and the Ohio, are mentioned in the song. The Monongahela and Allegheny Rivers meet and form the Ohio River in the heart of Pittsburgh.
The place selected as the prime waymark is the observation deck for the Duquesne Incline. There is a small fee to ascend the incline and view from this location. Since there are no specific instructions for visiting, though, the important part is that the visitor see the confluence from any of the three shores; just give coordinates from where the visit was made (or describe the location really well).
The song is sung by the Oak Ridge Boys on their album, Monongahela, issued in 1988, and is also included in their greatest hits album, volume 3, issued a year later. The Oak Ridge Boys are a country and gospel singing group well known for their harmonic singing and have won numerous awards. The song was first sung by the group and was a number one hit in the Billboard Country charts for them.
Ideally, the waymark would be the middle of the confluence, but I didn't have or take a boat. I had several vantage points where I was able to take pictures, but didn't have waypoints.
