This course is played on very flat terrain unless the disk is thrown out of bounds. There are nine tonal markers and 18 tee boxes scattered among the manicured trees and grass. Most throws must maintain a very low elevation to keep below the surrounding canopy of the deciduous trees. Any throw that is higher usually gets redirected in all the branches. The average length of this par three course is just below 235 meters with a total course length of 2113 meters. Men and Women tee off from the same tee boxes. There are no score cards and a map of the course can be obtained from the KDGC website or at the entrance to the park. There is one mandatory shot on the second pin combined with lots of out of bounds throughout the course. The course is located in Knox Mountain City Park so you are restricted to the operating hours of 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. These rules are strictly enforced and a bi-law officer will be following up. This course is very slow and you will more than likely get the course to yourself unless it is a Tuesday and league players are warming up or playing. The local league meets on Tuesday nights at 6:00 PM starting usually in April. Anyone is welcome to join in (for a fee)and there are handicaps issued to level the playing field so beginners can even win. Cash prizes are available for the top three finishers and a cash pot is up for grabs.
