This is a wonderful area, either on or off the boardwalk. Beware however, of the bugs. There is not a place worse in the area than here, so be prepared with bug spray or be prepared to lose a few pints of blood.
The boardwalk goes over the 1000 acre swamp. The area is full of wildlife with coyotes, fox, deer, raccoon, and all sorts of birds.
