DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1965 3.5 MI S FROM SULPHUR. 3.5 MILES SOUTH ALONG STATE HIGHWAY 66 FROM THE POST OFFICE AT SULPHUR, IN SECTION 11, T 4 S, R 1 W, 37 FEET SOUTHEAST OF THE CENTER LINE OF THE HIGHWAY, 33 YARDS SOUTHEAST OF THE WEST CORNER OF THE JEFFRIES CEMETERY, 75 YARDS NORTHEAST OF THE CENTER LINE OF A GRAVELED ROAD LEADING TO THE ORIOLE LAKE PICNIC GROUNDS, 6 FEET EAST OF A TELEPHONE POLE, 6 FEET SOUTH OF A CONCRETE RIGHT-OF-WAY MARKER, 6 FEET NORTHWEST OF AN 8-INCH PINE TREE BEARING A WITNESS SHIELD, ON THE NORTHWEST SIDE, ABOUT 4 FEET ABOVE THE LEVEL OF THE HIGHWAY, SET IN THE TOP OF A CONCRETE POST PROJECTING 3 INCHES.
