The windmill is now a private residence and its clear roof and cockerel on the top can be seen from the Co-Op car park. It has white-washed walls peeking out from the undergrowth.
The Clomworth and Neighbours History Society give the following details:
Duloe Mill stands on Mill Hill, at the south-west of the cross-roads at Eaton Socon. The photograph was taken in 1922.
A windmill is first recorded on this site in 1765. James Arnold was miller in 1785 and Joseph Arnold in 1791.
The tower-mill was built for William Arnold in 1815 on the site of the old post-mill which was burnt down. A mill is shown on the Bryants map 1825/26.
The next owner, J Arnold, had it 20 years and died in 1864. It was then sold to James Topham, who again sold it in 1873 to James Green. It then passed to his son, Albert G Green, the third generation of noted windmillers both here and at Colmworth, Keysoe, Riseley and Tilbrook.
The mill ceased working in 1916. The copper embossed weathercock is said to have been originally from Keysoe Church.
