On a small Dragon Lake's peninsula (accessible by small cheap ferryboat), in the centre of Dinghu Shan Biosphere Reserve, you can find s small Yunnan Tea House. Built from bamboo only, it's example of the traditional South-Chinese outdoor pavillon without glass windows. Thanks to the tropical weather here is no need for "closed" tea-rooms.

The Tea House is owned by young Dai (Yunnan's minority) brother and sister who offer famous Yunnan tea (black, red and green in dozens of varieties and quality). We spent here whole afternoon, surrounded by crystal-clear lake, tropical rain forest, orchids and bamboo bush. Yunnan tea and friendly atmosphere here were absolutely stunning, prices very low. We tried over 30 tea varieties from green Tien-lu-Ccha, over red Dian hong to black Congou tea - all were tasty... I can realy only recommend this nice place for visit.

Dinghu Shan Biosphere Reserve belong among the most beautiful pieces od still preserved nature, which I found during my visits of China. Dinghu Shan is not only natural park but also the important Buddhistic site with several ancient temples. Area is beloved target of numerous visitors from South-China supercities (Kanton-Guangzhou, Hong-Kong, Shenzhen etc.).
