At the corner of Smithfield Street and Sixth Street, just off a corner of the Mellon Square Park, there is a Toynbee tile embedded in the asphalt. The tile is fractured in many places and is hard to read, but it appears to have words common to many others including one a block away. The inscription that was easily readable was, "Toynbee Idea, In Kubrick's 2001, resurrect dead on planet Jupiter." The smaller text is much harder to read, but with help from another tile, I believe that it reads, "You must make and glue tiles. You!! As....."
This tile is different from the others, nearby. For one there are no border tiles around the part containing the text. For another, it is in poorer shape compared to the other tiles.
Address/Intersection: Smithfield Street and Sixth Street
 Condition: Poor
