EN: Radio Basilisk was one of the first private radio stations in Switzerland. It went straight on air in 1983 on the launch date after the liberalization of the Broadcasting Act. Today it is the most widely used station in northwestern Switzerland. The station plays primarily hits, interrupted by short news broadcasts.
The studios are located in the former stock exchange of Basel between Schifflände and Marktplatz.
DE: Radio Basilisk gehörte zu den ersten Privatradiostationen des Schweiz. Es ging 1983 gleich zum Starttermin nach der Liberalisierung des Rundfunkgesetzes auf Sendung. Heute ist es der weitest verbreitete Sender der Nordwestschweiz. Der Sender spielt in erster Linie Hits, unterbrochen von kurzen Nachrichtensendungen.
Die Studios befinden sich in Gebäude der ehemaligen Börse von Basel zwischen Schifflände nd Marktplatz.
