On this trip you will see scenic views of the Lehigh River and pass remnants of the former New Jersey Central RR and the Lehigh Valley RR. The town of Jim Thorpe is charming and has attractions of its own. This is a popular white water area and kayaks and rafts can often be seen on the river.
The train rides on the rails of the former Lehigh Valley Railroad. Other parts of this railway right of way have been turned into very popular rail-trails.
