Pigeon Falls differs from other falls in the area because of it's narrow gap in the stone ledge forming Sullivan Run's left-hand side. As a result, the area immediately around the falls will photograph darker than the surrounding glen. Small tree frame the falls, so an unobstructed view requires getting well into Sullivan Run, which is no easy task.
