The first mention about Zdiby is from year 1266 and Zdiby belonged to the New Town Monastery. In the first half of the 14th century was built a church and in 1420 Zdiby came from Church to temporary owner. In the 17th century village was in the hands of Knights of Radec. The last Knight Primyslav Ferdinand Radecky of Radec, Master of Premysleni and Zdiby, died at 15th July 1676 and is tombed in the local church.
