From the Deschutes/Lake County Line go south on Millican Road (L.C. Rd. 5-12D) for 6.2 miles. The elevation mark is set in a bedrock outcrop about 120 feet west of the centerline of the road which is the route of the Old Christmas Lake Road. Location marked by rock cairn. The elevation mark was set by the U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey and State Survey in 1934 and marked T272.
