There are at least a half dozen stone arch bridges in Alum Rock Park, all crossing Penitencia Creek. The pedestrian bridge featured here is one of my favorites, because of the stone stairway approaches on either side. On the east side is a semi-circular set of steps, while on the west side is a set of two stairways perpendicular to the bridge that lead to the bridge.
