The former West Frankford City Hall was constructed beginning 1921 and completed in 1922. This was the coal mining boom era in West Frankford with a tremendous population growth. This was the first City Hall for West Frankford. The building was used as city hall until 1979 when the current city hall was built. The building is now used by a senior citizen agency and as an event center.
