LANE MOTOR MUSEUM includes many prototypes, one-of-a-kind, and limited production vehicles in its vast collection including an amphibicar.
The oldest car is a 1924 Citroën 5 CV cloverleaf 3-seater. It has a torpedo styled body with three seats in cloverleaf formation. An unusual feature in this car is the gas pedal and brake pedal are in the opposite position as most other cars.
The most recent model is a 2003 Smart Car by Mercedes. This micro compact car is 8 feet long and 5 feet wide. The Smart Car was designed by the Swatch watch company. This car is extremely popular in Europe as it can squeeze into the tiniest of parking spaces and gets more than 60 miles per gallon of gas.
