Mourners have marked the spot where Eagle cyclist Jim Lee Chu was killed in a crash with a van last week. The group has erected an all-white bike - or ghost bike - at the intersection where Chu was killed. So far, about a half-dozen pots of flowers adorn the site.
-Excerpt from The Idaho Statesman, 5-26-09
The ghost bike is located on a fence line on the east side of the road (toward Gowen Field airport). If you visit the bike, drive from the south to the north, and park on the east side of the road. There are no crosswalks in the area and the traffic on this road can be very heavy, especially during rush hours.
Age of victim: 55
