This soaring Spire has long been used as a land mark . The spire can be seen from miles around and in centuries past was used as a landmark for ships plying the wash.

St. Mary's Church in the village of Snettisham has a 14th century, 172 ft. high spire.One of the tallest in the County.
Nicholas Pevsner called it "perhaps the most exciting decorated church in Norfolk".


The east window was shattered by a Zepplin attack in world war 1
and has a memorial placed underneath the restored window,
