A dune ride is a 35 - 40 minute guided tour through some of the most beautiful dunes in the world. First, you load up into a custom built truck that seats approx. 18 people. Then head off into approximately 300 acres of privately owned sand dunes. Stops in several places to have explained the history of the sand dunes and of the area. Also make a stop on the highest sand dune, where you have an opportunity to take pictures and enjoy the view. Also go through some wooded areas where it is not uncommon to encounter wild life. Some of the wild life that you can see are white tail deer, wild turkeys, red tail hawks, red foxes and even on occasion you can spot an ever elusive black squirrel.
