Long Description:
The pump is housed in a wooden structure and the plaque reads as follows:
Constructed circa AD MCM
Preserved circa AD MM'

It is situated in the High Street near to the old Charity School.

The village website has a whole page dedicated to its restoration listed below. There was a successful launch of the preserved pump with Morris Men dancing on May Day 2006.
