The site of the original Pennsylvania State Police Academy. Founded on May 2, 1905, the PA State Police are the first uniformed state police in the nation. Their first training academy was established on this site at the invitation of Milton S. Hershey. In 1960, the academy was moved to a location just east of The Hotel Hershey. Today the site is the home of a baseball field.
