Because of the Nestlé Chocolate factory in Burlington, WI, the local community embraces its chocolate-making neighbor with Chocolate Fest every Memorial Day Weekend - the weekend prior to the last Monday in May.
Chocolate themed events abound... Chocolate trivia, Chocolate wrapper fashion contest, Chocolate cooking demonstrations, and, of course, Chocolate eating contests. There is even a chocolate geocaching race - application fee and registration required.
Chocolate oriented vendors ring the inside of the Chocolate Experience tent selling their chocolate candies, chocolate baked goods or even basic chocolate to make your own chocolate concoction.
Outside, you can find your typicial festival activities from the local food vendors to the carnival rides and games.
