DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1943. ABOUT 2.9 MILES SOUTHEAST ALONG THE CENTRAL OREGON HIGHWAY (U.S. 20) FROM THE STORE AND SERVICE STATION AT BROTHERS, DESCHUTES COUNTY, ABOUT 0.4 MILE WEST OF AN ABANDONED RANCH HOUSE, ABOUT 0.2 MILE EAST OF A CURVE TO THE SOUTHWEST IN THE SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY FENCE, ON THE SUMMIT OF A LONG SLOPE, 101 FEET SOUTH OF THE CENTER LINE OF THE HIGHWAY, 54.5 FEET SOUTH OF A POWER-TRANSMISSION LINE POLE, 2 FEET NORTH OF THE SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY FENCE, AND 2 FEET NORTHWEST OF A WHITE WOODEN WITNESS POST. A STANDARD DISK, STAMPED B 373 1943 AND SET IN THE TOP OF A CONCRETE POST PROJECTING ABOUT 3 INCHES ABOVE GROUND.
