Originally built in 1842, this building was reconstructed in the 1930's.

This building was constructed in 1842 as an officer quarters. By 1846, it was assigned as the Chaplain's quarters. There were two main rooms, two shed rooms and a detatched kitchen. A fence surrounded the entire premises.

In the 1930's, the structure was rebuilt between the existing chimneys as a residence. It is now the Visitor Center and Site Office.
