The Polk Hotel is an example of Italian Renaissance Revival architecture. It is 9 stories tall and was the first skyscraper built in Haines City and is still one of the largest buildings in the city. It is a reminder of the economic development that went on in the community at the time of the land boom. It is now home to Landmark Baptist College.
