NGS L 119 RESET, 1999, WY, is a National Geodetic Survey vertical control disk located at the east edge of Wheatland, WY. The station is mounted flush with the surface in the sidewalk near the northwest corner of the east-west Wyoming State Highway 316 (Antelope Gap Road) bridge over a north-south running canal. It is 24.0 feet north of the centerline or the road and about 10 feet southeast of a railroad crossing warning sign.
It was monumented by the Wyoming Department of Transportation in 1999 to replace bench mark disk L 119, 1956, PID = NQ0162, which was DESTROYED by construction. To reach from EXIT 78 off Interstate Highway 25 at Wheatland, go east on Mariposa Parkway for 100 yards to the intersection with 16th Street. Turn left and go north on 16th Street for 0.54 miles to the intersection with Gilchrist Street (Antelope Gap Road). Turn right and go east on Gilchrist Street / Antelope Gap Road for 0.71 miles to the bridge and the station on the left. This station is in the NGS database as PID = DG5895, but it is not in the Geocaching database. See (visit link) .
