State library opened for public use, but limits borrowing privileges to state government employees, retired state employees, state legislators, elected and appointed state officials, accredited representatives of the news media, employees and faculty at state public post-secondary educational institutions and students enrolled in the Louisiana State University School of Library and Information Science. Was closed on my visit (a weekend). Features a good online data base, located at official library website below.
