Shep's grave was recently moved to the Broomfield Depot Museum grounds due to progress and construction on the interchange. All the gravestones, ironwork, gravel, and flags were replaced next to the old depot exactly as they were on Interstate 36. After watching the TV report on this story, I believe the mystery person who decorated Shep's grave all these years is the very same lady who spearheaded his re-interment.
