Long Description:
The stone bridge was buildt during 1876–1878 according to project by Bedrich Munzberger and Josef Reiter. Bridge lenght is 240m and was buildt to connect fast growing industrial Smichov with New Town. The bridge has 7 arches with lenght from 27.2m to 32m. It was originally decorated by Josef Vaclav Myslbek's statues, but they were damaged during US bombing attack at the end of WWII.
