The bridge enables some home owners to cross Penitencia Creek to get to their property.

An unusual thing about this bridge is that it is shaped like a rectangular trapezoid. The sides of the bridge form the two parallel sides of the trapezoid. One of the nonparallel sides is perpendicular to the two parallel sides of the bridge, as a normal bridge opening would be. This opening is on the owner property side. The opening from the street to the bridge is about a 45 degree angle to the sides of the bridge. This is because the bridge meets the road at an angle and the bridge opening is parallel to the road.

The address at the bridge is 15287 Penitencia Creek Road.
Current Condition of Bridge: Seems good, though the signs warns of potential danger

Description of Covered Bridge:
The bridge is one lane wide and about 25 yards long in the centerline. The bridge is marked as being 12 feet high, with a sign at the top that has a number 12 and a image of a human footprint. It has metal reinforcements for the tracks of the car wheels. Each side wall of the bridge has five open windows for lighting. These windows have different spacings on each side, because each side of the bridge is a different length.
