The Cross draws a lot of attention from travelers on I-35.

I have been driving into Oklahoma City since the mid-1990's and remember seeing this cross since then.
According to Wikipedia, the church was originally known as Metro Church, which had been around since the mid-1970's. In 2001, the church merged with Life Church, becoming a multi-site church.
A dedication plaque is on the base of the cross which states the dedication was October 4, 1998.
The cross has drawn attention to the church from travelers, and can be seen for miles!
The cross appears to be made of metal, with a base of stone.
