The plain rack is just off Hwy 345 at the intersection with Russell Twiford Rd. It is along the biking/walking trail (paved) that runs the length of Roanoke Island. You can easily visit many scenic and historic attractions by foot or bike. This stop is near some shops.
It is beside the NC Historical marker with a bench and surronded by shrubs.
