City Park - Waldo, FL - Municipal Parks and Plazas on Waymarking.com

?We were traveling through Florida on our way to South Carolina and happened to stop in this little town for a picnic lunch. We were pleasantly suprised to find this great park. There are picnic tables, a Firefighter, Police and Veterans Memorial, a playground and a railroad caboose on display. Coordinates are for the park entrance.
The park is called "Hopes Place" (visit link) in tribute to Lt. Hope Powell who was Waldo Fire and Rescue's acting Fire Chief. She was killed in an ATV accident.
