Arthur St. Clair (1736 – 1818) was an American soldier and politician. This marker is just south of his last home. This hollow is called St. Clair Hollow.

Marker Text - "At the head of the hollow to the south was last home of Gen. St. Clair. He served in the Revolutionary army, in the Continental Congress, and was first Governor of the Northwest Territory. His grave is at Greensburg."

Gen. St. Clair was a Major General in the Revolutionary army, President of the Continental Congress, First Governor of the Northwestern Territory and a pioneer Ironmaster in Western PA.
