Quinta Pedagógica de Portimão (Portimão Pedagogical Farm) is a space to bring together the youngest and the farm environment providing contact with farm animals and agriculture work.
It´sa 2 hectare space with distinct areas like farming, animal shelter, a lake, green areas and leisure areas.
It´s a project from the Portimão City hall and pretends to recreate a rural farm and teach the young ones the process the food they eat has to pass before get to the table.
It has also a facilities building with multi-use rooms, for classes and workshops between other activities. It also has a cafeteria and a shop.
In the farm you can find a place with vegetables, spice erbs, fuit trees and also several animals like cows, donkeys, pigs, sheep, chickens, ducks, birds, rabits and other traditional farm species.
