375 W Briarcliff Rd
Bolingbrook Village Hall

This memorial was erected for the veterans of all the wars fought by or in the United States. In Bolingbrook there are 2 cemetries that have the final resting places of quite a few soldiers from the American Indian War and the Civil War. The village though it only appropriate then to erect a veterans memorial rather than a memorial to a specific war.

The first memorial built here was just on the corner of the sidewalks with a flag pole and eternal flame. After many years of ceremonies here on Memorial Day, 4th of July and Veterans Day the crowds got to hugh for this little area, the crowds where actually shutting down parts of Briarcliff Rd, and the village decided in the early 2000's to built a bigger memorial.
