Caleb Fowler moved with this family to the Burton area of Geauga County after the Revolutionary War. His wife's name was Molly Chittenden. The local DAR Chapter is named in her honor.

The Original Marker is broken and heavily damaged, but appears to read: In Memory of Mr. Caleb Fowler Who Died October 12 AD 1822 Aged 67 Years (unreadable) You were born as well as I.
