The marker lists several of the "firsts" in flight that happened in this valley. The Antelope Valley has been home to Lockheed, Nothrop Douglas, and Rockwell International. Many plane, jets,and rockets have been manufactured and tested in the area.
The marker is dedicated to all of those who helped in making these advances.
