Located on one of the SUNY Oswego campus buildings, this webcam gives website visitors a panoramic view of a good portion of the campus. To capture yourself on this webcam for a visit, call a friend who has internet access, then have them go to this webcams WEBSITE. Once there, they will have to click on the "START CONTROL" button to take control of the movement of the camera. If someone else is using the cam, the "START CONTROL" button will be greyed out and there will be a timer, indicating the time left before the cam is available. Once the cam is available, have them click the "START CONTROL" button, then using the left/right slider, move the cam almost completely to the left position, then slide the up/down slider to approx. the center position. Finally, they can zoom in closer to the location where you will be standing, GPS'r in hand, waiting for them to lock you into their sights. Be sure to hold your GPS'r up so they can see it, as that is proof that you were there for the purpose of visiting this webcam. Once they have you on camera, they can then click on the "camera" button to save the image. It will open a new window with the snapshot, allowing them to click on the icon to save the image to their computer or e-mail it to you. The web address to view and control this webcam is: http://www.oswego.edu/webcam/control
