The mural panels along the Chestnut Street entrance to the Montgomery County Agricultural Fairgrounds were a cooperative effort between the city of Gaithersburg and the Montgomery County Agricultural Center, a non-profit private organization that runs the Fair and owns the Fairgrounds. The designs were created by artist Dean Wroth and city staff and volunteers completed the paintings. The panels are painted on the back wall of the Standard Supplies company that donated the space.
Since 1994, more panels have been added and can be found around the corner of the Standard Supplies building just inside the Fairground gate. The property is privately owned and entrance hours should be respected.
