This bench, made from two surfboards, is on the second floor observation deck of the Crissy Field Warming Hut.

2012 UPDATE:
When this bench was first located it was on the second floor balcony at the
old Crissy Field Center (N 37° 48.243 W 122° 27.327). Around 2009 it was relocated to back yard area behind the
new Crissy Field Center (coordinates updated). What was an unfinished wooden look to the three base supports has now been painted white (compare photos).
This is a
memorial bench for surfer Jim Reed, "The Goodwave Ambassador".
