The reconstructed Sudekum Planetarium opened on June 28, 2008.

They are very proud of their new GOTO Chiron Hybrid star projector - the only one in the United States. All the others are in Japan. It can project over 6.5 million stars and planetary objects.

The projection dome is 63 feet in diameter. The images appear very crisp. I thoroughly enjoyed the "Stars of the Pharaohs" presentation.

If visiting for a show, admission to the Adventure Science Center and an additional fee for the show ticket is required.
