We stopped by here on our vacation to South Carolina. They do sell gasoline, but the important part of this stop is the candy store! I had been looking for Pralines (to no avail) since we left Florida and was in awe when I walked in here! I was expecting "just another tourist trap." Not only did they have the Pralines that I was looking for, but all types of Southern Treats! Peanut Brittle, Pecan Clusters, Poppy Cock, Salt Water Taffy, Fruit Cake...It's all here! I was suprised to discover that my 12 year old daughter was familiar with (and likes) "Appalachian" flavored hard candies like Horehound. They carry a full line! They have a huge assortment of jams, jellys, preserves and chutneys in amazing flavors! They also had a great line of cook books. Whether you want to smoke it, pickle it, preserve it or grill it, they have a book to tell you how. Let me tell you....This Pit Stop was not quick or cheap!
I would recommed anyone who travels this way to stop in and have a look!
