To the "Ten Boys from Dallas" Killed on the USS Arizona
at Pearl Harbor Hawaii on December 7, 1941
by the Imperial Navy of the Japanese Empire.
A total of 1177 sailors and marines were killed
and most of them are entombed in the hull of the USS Arizona
at the bottom of Pearl Harbor. 79 were from Texas
only 337 sailors and marines survived.
This is to also honor John Willard Evans Seaman I/C
former Pro Tem of Dallas
who was among those survivors
