From the Pennsylvania line just west of Buffalo, east to Albany, then south to the New Jersey line, at 496.7 miles, the New York State Thruway is the longest toll road in the United States.

Location and default image taken from the pedestrian bridge connecting the Ramapo (southbound) and Sloatsburg (northbound) Service Areas. This is the only such pedestrian bridge on the entire road.
