The stone has a plaque which reads as follows:
'Ancient Boundary Stone
Found in 2001 5ft nearer hedge
and 5ft deeper, Probably dating,
to 15th or 16th century, re-erected
to commemorate The Queen's
Golden Jubilee 2002'
