This 20 foot falls runs at least a little year round, though it isn't very impressive during really dry seasons it can become quite a torrent after a good rain.
To get there take the Seven Hollow hiking trail in Petit Jean State park and wind your way along the path for just over two miles where you will see a small sign directing you up a side trail leading into one of the seven hollows you cross along the loop. One-quarter mile later you will find your self enclosed by vertical rocks in a quiet spot with the falls.
The pool below the falls has good drainage and stays at the same level regurdless of rainfall and the over hanging cliff provide shelter from sun and rain alike, so it is safe to hang out here even during a downpour, the best time of all to see the the Grotto.
