A popular feature of the Lakeside Trail is this floating bridge across a lake cove. During the summer, the water is covered with lily pads. At one time, a beaver was active in the area. Yes, the bridge will rock if you really work at stepping in rhythm.

Coordinates are for the middle of the bridge. And FYI, the bridge is visible on Google Earth at the closest setting for Kingsport.

Trail Name: Lakeside Trail

Approximate Length of Bridge: 125

Obstacle: An inlet on Bays Mountain Reservoir
