This lodge building was built in 1907 with its cornerstone laid August 27, 1907. The Multnomah Lodge No. 1 dates to 1846 and was the first lodge west of the Rockies and received its charter from the Grand Lodge of Missouri. The masonic lodge continues to meet on the upper floors with the first floor used by a television station.
