The Irvine HHW Center is a FREE drive-thru disposal for all household waste marked toxic, caution, danger, warning, corrosive, flammable, irritant, etc. They also have a "Stop & Swap" where you can take home opened paint, pesticides, fertilizer, etc.

Household waste marked toxic, caution, danger, warning, corrosive, flammable, irritant, etc. may NOT be disposed of in the trash can, but instead should be taken, FREE OF CHARGE, to any of the four HHW Collection Center’s located in Orange County. Proof of residency is required.
